What is an Operable Folding Partition?

Operable folding partitions are a series of interlocking panels suspended from an overhead track placed to divide a room in order to add function and flexibility to existing spaces. Our partitions provide acoustical separation and safely stack against a wall or into a pocket when retracted.

Your Gym Floor to Wall

We were excited to work with our Canadian partner, Sport Systems, in South Orange, NJ to install new mats in their gymnasium! In a town where many people are commuting into the city for work, a child care center where kids can have fun and play safely is integral. So, Dana Kearney of South Orange, NJ saw what amazing work Tri-State does, and decided to reach out and update their gymnasium. Take a look at this Sports Systems' blog for more on the installation!

To close out 2017, we were thrilled to work with our Canadian partner, Sport Systems, for an installation at an elementary school in the Newark, NJ area. With the help of Sport Systems, we updated a few areas in one of their inclusive educational schools. This project involved the teams to design a new and all-encompassing padding solution for the proposed spaces! The Sport Systems design was quickly approved by the NJ district, allowing production and manufacturing of safety padding within the school to begin. Our Tri-State team successfully installed the safety padding quickly and efficiently, and the fast turnaround on production was integral for the new calming and safe space to be complete. The school officials in the Newark area have wanted to offer and supply this safe space to their students, and with the partnership between Tri-State and Sport Systems, the elementary school students have complete access to this newly-renovated space.
